Saturday morning passed by reading a book and laying on couch with my little cutie. I couldn't resist taking some photos while he was a sleep. In the picture's above there is my dog Väinö. He is Australian terrier.
Well when I finally got up I went to buy some ingredients for cake. Since here, in Finland, we celebrate father's day in November, I decided to bake cake for dad.
I made red velvet cake! I tried to be as careful as possible since this was my first time to make this. I followed the instructions and did my best. Making it and cleaning after it swallowed my whole evening.
Today morning I covered the cake with umm.. Not sure what it's in English. It's kind of like marzipan, made of sugar. Now it was colored as blue. I decorated it by drawing some hearts to it with some kind of sugar frosting. I think it ended up looking okay.
It indeed ended up looking pretty red inside! I added some raspberries inside of it. I have to say I'm not much of a cook. If I'm honest I have managed to bake cake that was burned from borders and raw from the middle. So I didn't expect too much from this. But it ended up okay. Could been better, like always. But it wasn't bad!
Like always on father's day we went to eat to my granny's house and give present to grandpa. I wore the outfit that is in the picture. My new sparkly pants and simple white shirt.
We ended up staying 5 hours there. Food was delicious, like always. I was so sleepy, after I ate, so I took little nap. My two cousins, boy 11 years old and girl 8 years old, woke me up to desert. It was nice afternoon, and in one point I ended up playing with stuffed animals with my cousins.
Even Väinö had to attend the playing. I took picture of him and edited it little bit my phone. The cow toy got hair and Väinö bunny ears.
It was nice weekend and now I'm drop dead tired. I can't wait to get to bed. Starting tomorrow I'll be having new timetable in school. Tomorrow starts with music which is nice.
