Winning flu is never easy. I'm glad I'm already half way there. When I woke up on Tuesday my throat was hurting so much and I just felt awful. But today I was able to live normally already. I still have to sneeze all the time, but at least I'm able to drink something. Because flu is something that probably everyone hates, I want to share some tips that helped me in the fight against the flu.
- First the most obvious one maybe. Sleeping with socks in legs. When the weather gets cooler I get flu, if I don't sleep with socks. But this really helps to avoid the flu.
- Eating throat pastille. Another pretty obvious one maybe. In school my friend gave me one and it made my life so much easier. I have never really liked the taste of any throat pastilles, but it really does help.
- Drinking lot's of tea. Sometimes it's said that drinking something hot will make your throat pain worse, but for me it helped right away. Sometimes it's opposite and drinking something cold helps. I think that maybe when it's more like flue the tea helps.
- Honey! Honey is full of vitamins. So it's really good way to sweeten your tea. I think the honey tea really was the thing for me that helped get the pain from my throat go away.
- And lastly zinc tablets. Well this time I didn't have zinc tablets. I ate vitamin tablets, that had different vitamins in it, plus the great thing zinc. There is something in zinc that helps you feel better.
Today after school my friend came over my apartment. It was really nice. I haven't really had that much time to see friends in the free time, because of the test week and moving. Besides all my friends have been pretty busy too.
We had lots of fun. We made some fruit salad and ate it and talked about all kinds of things. There fruit salad was extra delicious with the fresh bananas, pineapple, apple and other things. And most important: It was full of vitamins!
We watched some videos from YouTube too. I show the video where Smosh interviews Tom Hiddleston. Seriously, that is one of the most funniest videos from Smosh ever. If you haven't watched it, go and watch! It's really really funny.
Lastly! Here is little cheer up kitties! I draw the cat in the back and the colored cats I edited to the pic. I hope everyone is having or had great day today. I'm going to enjoy the rest of my night by watching the second episode of Hannibal and the go to sleep. Because I'm lucky I can sleep tomorrow long.
