Oh dear! I'm not sure how did those two pictures on top end up so yellow. Sorry about that. Well I showed that shirt in some older post already, so you will get better image of it here. So that's my outfit of the day. The flower print really gave me energy in the morning so that's why I choose that shirt.
It was great Monday. How often do you actually hear people say that? Well it really was great one. My music classes started finally today. It was nice to get six people group were we can play some music on Mondays. There is actually lot more of us in the class, but we divided to four groups.
My group is awesome! It's funny how in the first course music it too several lessons before we could play any songs trough, now we just pick up notes and played this one song three times. Now our subject in music is Finnis pop so we are playing Finnish pop songs.
Today after school I first went to pay some school books, and then to buy some food with my friend. I ended up buying some pomegranates. I really love pomegranates! Just look how lovely it looks in the picture, and it tasted good too.
Here is the song we are singing in the music. It's called Puistossa by Anssi Kela. I really like the song actually.Good piece of Finnish pop. I'm singing the chorus in our version.
Here is the translated lyrics if someone is interested:
In the park, the evening is getting colder
Pete is jumping to stay warm
Swearing, as he takes a look at his watch
And lights the last cigarette
At school, he used to be the best in class
Now he's 16 and addicted to cocaine
And his mother doesn't care,
the boy has never seen his father
Pete takes care of himself
Yesterday he got an sms from his friend:
'I know how to get some easy money,
let's meet in the park if you're in'.
Pete raises his collar
And finishes off the cigarette
As he thinks
he has got nothing to lose
(Chorus:)
The world keeps spinning around,
The sun will rise again
Nothing will ever change
Everything stays the same
The winds won't stop,
Rains keeps pouring down
And all the beauty will fade away,
everything dies at its own time
Laura is a beautiful, young woman
After the commercial institute
She decided to start her own firm
Took a huge loan from the bank
But Laura got some troubles,
The firm was driven to bankruptcy
Now she can't pay the bills
Or the loan
Her parents would have a lot of money
But they don't want to help their daughter
They say: 'Welcome to the real world,
here you'll have to survive on your own'
At nights, Laura stays awake and prays:
'God please help me, I can't make it through'
(Chorus...)
Laura arrives on her motorbike,
Brakes on the edge of the park
Pete jumps aboard the bike,
Neither one says a word
And they drive to a cottage
Laura hands the key
And tells Pete again
Where her mom keeps her jewelry
They thought they had made it
When Laura notices the blue lights
In the motorcycle's mirror
Demanding them to stop
Laura gases it and shouts:
'Hold on, Petri Ruusunen!'
In the morning headlines are blazing
And they're legends for a while...
(Chorus...)
I hope everyone is had or is having great day! Enjoy the music~
Mari
