Slippery slippery... Falling down

Last couple days have been pretty cold, and the roads are getting slippery. Today it was snowing pretty hard, and I decided to stay at the apartment and not to leave home. I think the train would have never came if I would tried to get home.

Let's go little bit backwards in the time. On Friday when I came home the shirt above was waiting me at the apartment. I called mom and she said she had bought it for me. Doesn't it look cute? I really liked the way it looks on me. I decided to wore it while I went to visit my friend. We had sleepover! It was nice. 

We went ti buy some candy and crisps from next door shop and then we watched Harry Potter and the Half blood prince. It has been a while since I last time saw that movie so it was really nice. 

We slept probably to 10 and stayed in the bed until 12 watching some TV. Also we watched Anastasi movie. I was really happy! It was actually my first time seeing the movie. I have wanted to watch ever since I was little kid, but I haven't got a chance to do it. 

The movie was really beautiful. The songs war so beautiful, everything was. It made me wanting to add Anastasi to my cosplay list... And that list is starting to look pretty long. I should start maybe doing some of those ideas someday soon.

Now I'm going to watch Hobbit! I tell you are secret. This is the first time I'm seeing it. I know I know! I have been wanting to see this for a long. But something has always just come up and I just haven't watched it. I'm really looking forward to this, since Martin Freeman is in the movie and he is just great actor.

DIY: Decorating sweater

So this is what wore today. Red sweater with denim shorts. Actually yesterday I was decorating this sweater. Can you guess what I did? 

Yeah I added the collar to this sweater!

I got inspiration of this CutiePieMarzia's video. She shows pretty awesome ways to decorate old sweaters. So I got the inspiration here, but still did something differently.

I found the cute lace when I searched trough my decorating bags. I had saved this long time ago and now was the time to use it. I though it was perfect to this. And I was lucky to find this. For some reason I didn't find anything like this in the local fabric stores...

I decided to this little bit differently than Marzia... Instead of sewing I took glue tape. I'm not sure what to call that in English. Anyways you can see it in the top photo. It's this thin net like thing, which melts when you iron it. First I wanted to make the border nice and clean. So I fold it and but that glue tape in the middle. I ironed it and tada~. It ended up looking pretty good.

Then I took the sweater and little by little ironed the glue tape attached sweater and collar together. I was happy how it looks now! No sewing marks.This little decorating made the sweater look much cuter.

Today when I came from school I made some gingerbread's. I used the new Moomin cookie cutters. The ginderbread's looked really good. But something was missing...

So I decorated them! I'm actually pretty bad at decorating any cookies, cupcakes or cakes. But these ended up looking okay.Besides they taste really good. I already ate 5 little ones!

Name change?

Yes! I changed my blogs name. Now it's My galaxy and supernova, url is mygalaxysupernova. I felt like Kaneshon wasn't good enough, and this is what I ended up with.

Also I made tumblr as a side account to this life-style blog. The names are matching: My-galaxy-supernova . So everyone check it out!

After that little info, here is little summary of my Saturday!

 So on Saturday, I ended up going shopping  with my mom and her friend. Like in any time of the year, I wore skirt. Although before leaving I had little cloth/hair crisis, it ended up being quite fun. We toured around different shops and later we went to eat.

I even bought my first Christmas present. I bought this cute Moomin-bag for my letter exchange friend who lives in Japan. It was good size to be send in mail and look how cute it is! I'm pretty sure she is going to like it, at least I hope so. 

Tada! These are Moomin cookie cutter (?). I bought because I have great plan. This year I'll be making some gingerbread cookies for some of my friends. I really hope they will like them. I'll be sharing pictures how they ended up looking when I make them!

Also I bought Monsters University - DVD. I never had chance to see this in movie theaters. But since Monsters Inc. is part of my childhood, I couldn't resist buying this. Monster Inc. came out at the year 2001, when I was 5 years old. So it has been quite long time since it and now this year this movie came out. Of course I have to see it!

Lastly! Here is our Christmas balcony! Or something like that... Mom put up some lights to the balcony to make it look nicer. At evening it looks really cute, at least to me.

Christmas: Only month until it!!

Today's outfit!

It's little bit over month until Christmas! It feels so unreal. It has been so brown and autumn like here, so I have been thinking that there is still much of time before Christmas. Well everything changed today.

It has been snowing whole day. Quickly everything was covered with white snow. While it looked like autumn yesterday, today it looked like winter. During my free lesson I walked around and took some pictures.

Everything looked really pretty with the snow. There is just something in snow that makes it look pretty. It's so pure and white, I guess. 

Well, realizing that Christmas is on it's way, I realized I haven't even thought about presents yet. I haven't thought neither, what do I want to wish for and what should I get for others. So I thought first to think for my whist list, and this is how it ended up looking like.

1. That 70's show - DVD box. I would prefer season 5 and 6 DVD box. I know this show is old and all. But I just like it really much. I think it's funny and nice to watch. Also I just love Jackie and Hyde paring, "Zenmasters", in the season 5 and 6.
   
2. AKB48 - single. I would most want to get either UZA, Ue Kara Mariko, Koisuru Fortune Cookie or Heavy Rotation. Those are my favorite singles from AKB48. Since there are always several different versions of singles I have also thought which ones I would like to get. I would like to get UZA type K, Ue Kara Mariko type B, Koisuru Fortune Cookie type B and Heavy Rotation type A.  
   
3. 2NE1 CD. Really I would like to get any of their CDs. I like all of 2NE1's songs. Since I don't any of their CDs I would be extremely happy to get any of them. These girls are really talented and I love their music. 
   
4. Doll$Boxx album. I found about them at this autumn, and I really grown to like them. It's really refreshing to listen girl rock band. 
   
5. Finally, I'm dreaming of Playstation 3 and tow games for it; Beyond: Two souls and Kingdom Hearts Remix 1.5. I saw Pewdiepie's videos where he played Beyond, and it really got me interested about that game. It looks so beautiful, and something like I have never ever played before. Kingdom Hearts in the other hands is really dear game to me. I have been playing it on Playstation 2, Nintendo and PSP. I would really like to get try this one too, since it has some of the older games with better quality.

And that's pretty much it. I would be happy to get any of those things. Though I wouldn't mind if I would get totally different presents. Now I think I should start think for some things that I could get for my family and friends. Luckily I have already couple ideas. I will see how I will fulfill my plans.

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire

So today it was first day to show Hunger Games: Catching Fire in the movie theaters. I was surprised that we got it already here at 20.11, surprised and happy. Me and my friend ordered tickets already couple weeks ago. Today we went to eat and then to watch this together.

Were to begin? Well I really liked the movie. Somehow the makers are just able to take enough stuff from the books and put it in the movie. The costumes were amazing, I loved every detail. Jennifer Lawrence did amazing job again! It's funny how I almost kind of dislike Katniss in the books, but Jennifer really makes me like her in the movies.

Before I saw the movie, the one I was worried about was our dear Finnick Odair. He is my favorite character in the book series. He is just amazing character. I was really afraid that somehow the movie would ruin him from me. 

I was worried for nothing. Sam Claflin did great job! One British actor more to add my amazing actors list. I don't want to praise him for nothing, but for me he was perfect for the role. Thank you for such a great work!

Like I already said everything looked amazing to me. Not only that, but the movie was able to bring some feelings up to me. I weep a bit when they were talking about Rue, laughed for some of the funny things, was afraid of the scary things and smiled every time when I saw Peeta or Finnick smile their amazing smile. I think every single actor did amazing work, and was perfect for their role. 

Worst part of the movie was, that the theater was full of people and it was awful. It was really hot, because there were so many people. I drank all my water and had to take my cardigan of in the middle of movie. Still it didn't ruin the movie for me. It was still great experience. 

You could think that because I have already read the books twice  would take something away from me, but it really didn't. I think I actually got more out of it, since I have read the books. 

I expected that Ebony would have even little bit bigger role. I mean she didn't have that big role in the book either, but somehow I just thought it would been little bit bigger part. Her actor though was perfect chose for the role.

Johanna surprised me in positive way. Jena Malon, thumbs up for you! Good job girl! 

Someone get me that kind of scarf that Katniss is wearing! I love it!

While we walked away from the theater with my friend, I listened some maybe 12 to 13 years old girls conversation, which made me laugh. 

Girl 1: "I know who all are going to die"

Girl 2: "No way! How do you know that?"

I wanted to turn around and say, have you heard about the books. The movies are made based on them. Thank god the first girl said to the second that "Of course by reading the books".

So Great Britain is up tomorrow! You there get chance to see the movie tomorrow. In America your turn comes on Friday. I hope everyone that sees the movie, will liked is as much as I did.

And for the end, pictures of my outfit for today. I decided to dress up to my favorite color: Red.

I seriously don't how I could praise the movie anymore. It was really good and worth of watching. 

Now I'm going to head bed, after some exhausting and great day.

My ring collection

 I could say I have 22 rings... Actually I think i have more in some of my jewelry boxes. Anyways  I was able to get together these 22 rings that I have used the most.

Basic plastic bow rings,  black and rose pink colored. I think I have bought these some years ago from Gina Tricot. They went along quite nicely to my junior high school style. They don't look bad now days either, I just haven't been using these lately. 

These both rings I have bought from Tracon. On different years thought. Eye- ring is from year 2012 if I remember correctly and the bow ring is probably from 2010 or 2011. These rings are just something that I bought because I thought they looked cute. Both rings are kind of pink, other one even hot pink, and it's not color that I use that much.

Three fabulous rings! Mustache- ring is the newest of these three. I think I bought it around 2013 spring. I think i's really cute and I wanted some mustache jewel. After all mustache are awesome. Middle ring, is something I bought little bit after the first two plastic bow rings. It was just something I had to buy cause it's really cute. I remember using that quite a lot at last years of junior high school. Last one is bow with "diamonds"it's quite simple and still sparkly. It's funny how lot of my rings are shaped like a bow.

My yummy-kawaii-rings. I bought these five rings while I was in Italy, 1 year ago. I found them some market. I remember there were lot of different booths, and I walked around several hours without buying anything. I found these rings from one of the last booths I looked. And I ended up spending half hour there. Later I ran back there to buy two more rings. These rings were so cheap so I just had to buy them, something like 2,5€ each. 

My change the stone - ring. I actually count this ring as three since I got three different stones to it. It's quite funny ring that I got from my mom. The ring is actually so small that I can only use it in my pinkie. Not the finger I usually use rings. But as I said it's quite funny ring and I can use it sometimes.

Lastly misc. rings. First one is my first really precious jewel. I got it from my mom when I was little. Back then it was too big for me, but now it fits perfect. There is little real pearl in it, which I think is really cute. Next is two colorful glass rings. They are some funny rings I got from my mom, I use them when I really want some goofy to my outfit. I actually use them pretty rarely, I used them more when I was younger. But they look nice and bring back some great memories, so I could never throw them away. Last ring is just classic looking ring. It's pretty and I like to use it when I'm dressed up in girly and simple way.

So there is 22 of my rings. Rest of my rings actually are just from childhood. I end up keeping them in my jewel box cause they are full of memories. 

I ended up chancing little bit my blogs looks. I hope you like it. I felt like the red and orange was too bright and just didn't feel right. Anyways, comment how you like it!
