Me and my friend made some chocolate-chip-cookies as a birthday present to our friend. We bought this cute cookie jar and decorated it just a little bit with a bow and label on the top. This is really easy and sweet birthday present, to my opinion. We spent time by making cookies for our friend with love.

I feel like almost all of my friends are having birthday now at spring. But that's alright. That just means I'm sharing lot of ides for birthday presents.
So one of my friends had birthday recently. I picked up little white box and put new covers to it.
On top of the box I put little label that said her name and also some flowers. I added 5 flowers, I actually just kept adding until I was satisfied by how it looked.
Inside I put this little robot necklace. I thought it looked cute and just fit the style that my friend could use.
So here again couple birthday present ideas. I hope you enjoyed them!

Today I'm here to share couple things that I have done last few days. First one is in the picture above.
My friend had birthday just, and this is what I made her as a present. I found the jar and decided to decorate it little bit. I added the cute light pink colored lace on the top part of the jar. I also made little label that I hang to the jar. What's inside?
Tea! Different types of tea. I took the tea labels of and replaced them with ribbons. All the teas were different flavor. So mu present was tea adventure, I guess.
Also I ended up going back to brown hair. I didn't want to bleach my hair again, I had the feeling it would die then. So I ended up dyeing it to brown. It became darker that it was meant to, but still looks pretty cool right? It's more natural for me now, since my hair really is dark brown colored.
Today I was able to wear the green dress that I bought some time ago. So it means that I was able to fix it. As I told it was little bit tight from back. I had really simple solution for it.
I added strings to the back, and now the dress fits perfectly. The laces also look pretty nice.

I just wanted to share with you couple clothes treasures that I happened to find couple days ago. This beautiful floral print shirt couldn't stay in the store after I tried it on.
It cost me €12, and I think it's worth of it. I really like lace and the colorful flowers in it.
This is the real treasure. Beautiful dress, which cost me €10. I was truly overjoyed when I find this dress.
Sadly it's little bit tight for me from the back, but I have great plan and after that, the dress will be just perfect.
The fabric is so beautiful and I could not resist it. One of the most prettiest dresses I have ever own. I'll let you know later how the plan worked!
My friend had birthday party yesterday and I decided to try to dress up in something relaxing, since the "theme" was home evening.
I chose the new dress I found from flea market. It's really nice and comfortable. It didn't look like much when I saw it first but I think it actually looks really pretty on me.
I finished the look with "knot" braid and flower crown.
As for the present... This time I ended up making it by myself. I'm not that handy, but I tried my best while making these two plushies.
They weren't too ehard to make and I had fun. I even ended up making little necklace for the another one. Still I felt little bit embarrassed to just take them, so I went to buy also some chocolate for my friend.
In the end everyone said the plushies were cute and the birthday hero liked them, what was the most important thing.
I'm not sure what to call these fellows tho... Maybe Mehmies?
Little while ago I was able to finally get my hands to a book called The Book Thief by Markus Zusak. The book was first published actually in 2005. I saw the trailer of the movie maybe about a month ago and thought that I want to see the movie. My friend told me that it was originally a book. My other friend said i shouldn't be disappointed because it's not as good as everyone says. This brought my mood little bit down. But despite of that I decided to read it anyway.
I read this 500 page book in 6 days probably. I loved every single page of it. I have always been interested in the time of World wars, so it is a perfect book for me. I love the writing style and I was really pleased in the time I used to read the book.
So the movie came out here last week's Wednesday, I was done with the reading on Tuesday. But I wanted to wait because it was test week.
Finally yesterday I was able to see the movie.
I don't want to spoil the story to you if you haven't read the book or watched the movie. So don't worry about that. The story starts when Liesel Meminger is traveling in train towards her new family. Her mom has decided to give up of her and her brother for adoption. Everything is happening during the World war 2 in Nazi Germany. Sadly Liesel's brother doesn't make it and Liesel is only one to arrive to Himmel street where she is going to live with her new "Papa" and "Mama" Hans and Rosa Huberman. Liesel meets lots of new people at the Himmel street, and neighbor's boy Rudy Steiner eventually becomes her best friend.
The plot is really complicated and has many big details in it. One detail is how Hubermans take a Jew to hide to their basement.
The movie itself was beautifully filmed. You could see they really wanted to make good work with it. I think actors were well chosen and they fit their roles. Thing that sometimes is considered as funny is how people ,for example in this case, in Germany speak English. I liked the fact that they had still put there some lines, songs and small things in German, and it didn't ruin anything for me.
The movies plot had some little changes if we compare it to the book's story. Some people might find it as a bad thing. It really didn't bother me. I understand how it's just impossible to put everything in 500 pages book to one movie. There was also some changes in things that happened in books, they just happened differently in the movie. This didn't bother me either. One change just made me die inside because of all the emotion that it made me feel because it was really dramatic.
I feel that The Book Thief both movie and book are something I could recommend to other people too.
It wasn't waste of my time, I think it was very good thing to spent time with. I could talk lot more of the movie with you, but I really don't want to spoil anything if you haven't seen it yet.
It's been two long weeks since my last post! I'm so sorry about that. I haven't gone away and I'm still going to post.

So it really has been quite a while. How is everyone doing? For me the last two weeks were full of studying. I had my test week's last test on Friday, which allowed me to have school free weekend this weekend.
I can't say that lot has happened in these past two weeks, because I have really just been studying and practicing for our school's musical concert. It feels like ages since I have actually done something really fun and non-school related (well actually it's not that long time).
For next week I luckily have couple good plans with friends, and I'll make sure to share some here too.
This weekend I have just used for resting and sewing something for my friend's birthday, I will make sure to let you see what it is later.
Last week I had chance to buy something for the coming summer. It was a small free day since I didn't have tests for two days, so mum wanted to check some sales with me. I ended up getting denim skirt and shorts. Denim is so easy to use with anything, and since it was sale I got them real cheap.
Lately I have also been checking out dresses from Yesstyle. I have ordered some clothes from there before, and I really liked the clothes. This time I have been looking some dresses and I found several pretty lovely. They would be amazing for the summer season. So I'm hoping that I will soon find time to look trough the site and really choose what I would like to order.
